Community

St Edward is fostering a community spirit at Hartland Village. We are facilitating and encouraging a new community which will eventually become self-sustaining, with residents taking long-term ownership.

To do this, we have created a bespoke community plan designed to help people get to know their neighbours and to bring in people from the local area, when it is safe to do so.

Our ongoing collaboration and engagement with local networks started before construction began and we continue to build on our relationships with schools, colleges, community groups and clubs. We also host events to bring our residents together and local people in, such as fireworks displays, time capsule burials and drinks receptions. We continue to support Fleet Carnival after taking part as the headline sponsor in 2019.
